Second Graders Get an Inside View on How the Eye Works
In second-grade science class, students are learning about how the eye works. What are the different parts of the eye and what do they do? How does light get into the eye? Mrs. Boor led the dissection of a cow's eye so students could get an inside view of the anatomy of the eye. Second graders were fascinated with the dissection and filled with questions as they learned about the cornea, sclera, iris, lens, and other parts of the eye.
