Intersession 2020

Intersession is a four-day break in mid-February when seventh and eighth graders and their teachers take a break from the academic schedule to enjoy a huge variety of fun and different experiences, mostly off campus. Students visited Walter Reed Medical Center, Fairfax Inova Hospital, FBI Headquarters, the Spy Museum, the Montgomery County Fire, Rescue, and Police Training Academy, the Library of Congress, Ford's Theatre. the National Zoo, the Natural History Museum, the National Museum of Women in the Arts, and many other places around DC. They observed heart surgery, visited with service dogs, decorated cakes, served as assistant teachers in pre-K and kindergarten, made Chinese dumplings, tried their hand at improv, went bird watching, and a lot more. It was a fantastic week full of of exciting new experiences and fun adventures!
